Vanaf de eerste keer dat ik deze zin las spookt ie af en aan door m'n hoofd.
Ik begrijp de intentie, wat ermee bedoeld wordt. Maar ik ervaar deze tekst heel anders.

Het zal m'n minderwaardigheidscomplex zijn, maar ik vind dit eigenlijk een hele kwetsende zin. Als dit zou kloppen zou het namelijk impliceren dat ik het niet waard ben.... (...)

Het zal inderdaad je minderwaardigheidscomplex zijn Es.
Ik lees de zin namelijk anders.....
Helaas woon je een 'pokkeneind' bij ons vandaan, maar de 'ruimte' is er!
Je bent een mooi mens.

Vandaag in de Volkskrant een stuk van Peter Middendorp met daarin deze prachtige, treffende passage: 'Boosheid heeft snelle benen, er is geen emotie die haar kan bijhouden, maar teleurstelling niet, die loopt juist opvallend traag. Alsof ze geen afscheid kan nemen, het liefst zolang mogelijk bij je blijft.'
